Building a Wooden Jon Boat..pt.13

Things are wrapping up quickly on the interior and I am beginning the priming and painting inside the hull.

I am using Kirby Boat Paint for this boat. Their oil based enamel is hands-down the absolute best paint that I have ever used! It flows off the paintbrush like a dream and dries extremely hard. They have been in business forever and they really know their paint. For the interior I am using a color called “#15 Straw”.

For the hull exterior I am using “#35 Seaweed”

In this shot you can see the interior hull paint. Unfortunately the boat is under an orange tent while being painted so the color is a little off in the photo. Sorry about that folks!

Finally here is a photo of the boat as it stands right now. Getting closer to launch!
