Building a Wooden Jon Boat..pt.11

Next up on the construction schedule is building the seats. I wanted to keep the boat interior as open as possible with minimal stuff to get in the way of fishing equipment. I decided on standard bench style seats. Later on in the build process I will add several swivel style pedestal cushion seats using the benches as a base.

I also built a small front deck with a waterproof hatch to store items that need to stay dry.
