About Me

I am a 55 year old 5th generation Trinity river rat. I grew up fishing with my Dad on the Trinity River near Riverside, Texas. As I got older I learned to appreciate  the wild outdoors and to this day my absolute favorite place to be is on the river on a quiet morning at daybreak watching the world wake up around me.

I am just an average fisherman, but I give it all that I have and usually come home with a mess of fish as we like to say here in Texas! I hope that you find my writings useful if not entertaining, and I always enjoy reading your comments!
